1. ✅ Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BakeOnline website, tools, templates, or any services we offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered bakers, consultation clients, and community members.

2. 🍰 Our Services

BakeOnline provides the following to bakery operators:

• Free pricing and business tools (calculators, trackers)
• Free downloadable templates and workbooks
• Paid guides, ebooks, and masterclass training
• One-on-one business consultations (paid)
• The Modern Bakers Club community
• A baker account portal for managing your activity

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

3. 🧑‍🍳 Baker Accounts

When you create a baker account on BakeOnline, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Use your account only for your own bakery business purposes
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate another baker or business

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. BakeOnline is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

4. 📥 Free Resources & Templates

Our free resources — including the Order Tracker, Profit Tracker, and Customer Profiling Guide — are provided for your personal business use. By downloading them, you agree that:

• You may use them freely for your own bakery business
• You may not resell, redistribute, or claim them as your own creation
• You may not remove any BakeOnline branding from the templates
• You may share the download link from our website with other bakers, but not the files directly

These resources are provided "as is." While we've built them carefully, we make no guarantee that they will be error-free or suitable for every business situation.

5. 📅 Consultations

When you book a paid consultation with BakeOnline:

• Payment is required to confirm your session — details shared via WhatsApp after booking
• We accept Mobile Money (MTN & Airtel) and bank transfer
• Sessions are 45–60 minutes unless otherwise stated
• Rescheduling is allowed with at least 24 hours notice
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable
• Refunds for cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be processed within 5 business days

6. 👥 Community Rules

The Modern Bakers Club is a space for bakers to learn, share, and grow. By joining, you agree to:

• Be respectful and supportive of all other members
• Not spam, promote unrelated businesses, or post irrelevant content
• Not share harmful, offensive, or discriminatory content
• Not share other members' private information without their consent
• Contribute positively and constructively to discussions

BakeOnline reserves the right to remove any member from the community who violates these rules, without notice or refund.

7. ©️ Intellectual Property

All content on the BakeOnline website — including text, graphics, logos, tool designs, guides, and templates — is owned by BakeOnline and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or republish our content without written permission
• You may share links to our pages freely
• Screenshots for educational or review purposes are permitted with attribution
• Our brand name "BakeOnline" and logo may not be used without permission

8. ⚠️ Disclaimer

BakeOnline's tools, templates, guides, and advice are designed to help you run your bakery business more effectively. However:

• Results from using our tools will vary depending on your specific business situation
• We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes or profits
• Pricing calculators and trackers are aids — not substitutes for professional financial advice
• We are not accountants, lawyers, or certified financial advisors

9. 🛡️ Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BakeOnline shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our platform
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Errors or inaccuracies in our tools or templates
• Downtime, technical issues, or service interruptions
• Actions taken based on our advice, guides, or consultations

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim, or UGX 50,000 — whichever is lower.

10. 🚫 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BakeOnline to:

• Violate any applicable Ugandan or international laws
• Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt our website or services
• Submit false or misleading information through our forms
• Impersonate BakeOnline, our team, or other bakers
• Use our platform for any commercial purpose that competes with BakeOnline without permission
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

We reserve the right to block access to anyone who violates these terms.

11. 🔚 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to BakeOnline at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use, without prior notice.

You may also close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@bakeonline.co. Upon termination, your access to the baker portal will end, though these terms will continue to apply where relevant.

12. ⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.

We encourage resolving any issues amicably first — please reach out to us directly before pursuing formal dispute resolution.
